Drumroll for san anselmo!
Since 2014, we’ve been pleased to partner with Marin County schools and recreation departments to offer our classes. This year, we are offering five weeks of camp with San Anselmo Recreation.
Located at 1000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd next to Red Hill shopping center, the Isabel Cook Community Center is a great location for TinkerTech camps. Good sized classrooms downstairs in the center and a large park outside with picnic tables that we used for our outdoors-only camp last summer.
Typical daily schedule:
9:00-9:30 Arrive, Icebreaker
9:30-10:30 Coding or Edtech skills
10:30-11:00 Outside break, games
11-12 Coding or Edtech skills
12-1 Lunch and Play
1-2:30 Engineering Build group challenge
2:30 Pick-up
TinkerTech Camps at San Anselmo Recreation Summer 2022.
Full Day one-week camps 9:00 am-2:30 pm $520-$661 per week.

7/5-7/9 Microbits, Electronics and a Fashion Show
Discover what you can create with microbit, a pocket-sized computer that helps students explore how software and hardware work together. Learn to use the LED display, buttons, sensors and input/output features and put it all together in this week’s team challenge to make wearable fashion and costume accessories.
7/11-7/15 Scratch, Makey Makey and a Sailboat
Explore Scratch programming to build animations and games and see what you can build with the Makey Makey kit created by the innovators at MIT. Then get together in your design team for an engineering challenge to make a sailboat.
7/25-7/29 Microbit Robotics and Pinewood Derby
Micro: bit is one of our favorite Edtech tools at TinkerTech. Small, smart, and very fun to program, especially when combined with a robotics kit. Hands-on team engineering challenge of this week: to build vehicles for the San Anselmo Rec Pinewood Derby in Millenium Park!
8/1-8/5 Tinkercad, Scratch and Paper Creations
Discover CAD (computer-aided design) using Tinkercad software from Autodesk, level up your coding skills with Scratch, and work as a team to build creative paper designs using origami as inspiration.
8/8-8/12 Ozobot, Lego WeDo and Mini Golf
Explore robotics with the small and mighty Ozobot and Lego WeDo, then work as a team for this week’s design engineering challenge to make a mini golf course with moving parts.
