Stop Motion Animation To Go!

TinkerTech is on YouTube Livestream!

We had so much fun teaching a one-hour intro to Stop Motion Animation last week at Booker T Washington Community Center in San Francisco. It was part of a daily four-hour broadcast for their students in the Presidio and beyond – an inspired idea from this community center we work with all year. To watch it, click on the photos here (the TinkerTech one-hour workshop starts around 1hr37).

Meantime, we continue teaching Stop Motion Animation as part of our Imagination Camp running every week this summer. Work created in class is shared on Scratch website and on the TinkerTech YouTube channel.

Animation teacher Leslie Pelle returns for our camp the week of July 6th. She created the ‘Balanced Breakfast’ Video below and put together the compilation of children’s movies from week 1 of Imagination Camp. We hope they inspire more film makers to get started!
