PMMI Foundation Supports TinkerTech Summer Camps
Marin County, CA: TinkerTech is proud to announce the support of The PMMI Foundation for TinkerTech’s summer camps. Through a generous grant, they are helping to provide scholarships for students attending TinkerTech’s Create Your World & Entrepreneurship Camps in Sonoma and Marin counties.
Since 1998, the PMMI Foundation has provided financial support for packaging and processing education throughout the US and Canada. This partnership with Nuts Bolts & Thingamajigs furthers that mission by inspiring the future workforce to explore career opportunities in packaging and processing.
At TinkerTech’s Create Your World and Entrepreneurship Camp, students ages 11-14 explore problem-solving and creativity through design, building, and manufacturing projects. This fun group of innovators will brainstorm, prototype, test, and present their ideas– bringing students’ entrepreneurial ideas to life!
“We’re thrilled that The PMMI Foundation has chosen us as a grant recipient,” said Claire Comins, Founder of TinkerTech. “Our camps are all about inspiring kids in STEM fields while having fun – we want them to come away with a creative curiosity and projects they develop independently.”
Registration for TinkerTech’s summer camps is now open, and they are currently accepting Scholarship applications. For more information about the PMMI Foundation or other programs they sponsor, visit pmmifoundation.org/programs/.
