Happy Haunting

Halloween heralds a flurry of activity for makers of all ages – whether it’s carving a pumpkin, or, in the case of TinkerTech, building a robotic hand to spook visitors to a haunted church.

Photo of the in-progress robotic hand here – if you want to see the spook in action, visit St John’s in Ross for its Haunted Church event on October 31, 6-7:30 pm.

Meanwhile, students in our robotics classes have also been upping their skills in special effects, programming micro: bits to display skulls and broadcast spooky sounds. In our coding classes, students have built a myriad of games including a highly seasonal Witch’s Curse.

What Halloween makes have you been busy creating? If you are sharing your photos, please tag them to @tinkertechkids so we can see them!
