Exciting news for TinkerTech this year is a new camp for students ages 11-13 at the Marin Makerspace, a fully-equipped creative learning classroom in South Novato. Students will learn to design using tools in the maker-space.
We are running two camps – April 4-8 and June 27-July 1. The camps are sponsored by Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs and by New Media Learning. Scholarships are available.

Discover what you can design, build and make in the creative classroom of the Marin Makerspace in this dynamic new camp for students ages 11 to 13. Hands-on activities through the week will train you how to use the 3-D printer and laser cutter to customize your projects. Work in small teams or in partners to take on engineering design challenges. Will you design a prototype of a robot of the future or something fun to entertain your friends?
This full day camp is led by experienced STEM teachers and designed to help students understand more about what can be created in a Makerspace – and about careers in the design, manufacturing and engineering industries.
